The Orange County Heart and Stroke Walk has always been a great way to get moving while socializing with friends, family and co-workers leading up to and on the day of event. This year’s walk is scheduled for April 15th.
Murray Company has been a supporter of the American Heart Association for years. Heart disease and stroke affect 1 in 3 adults, including a lot of people in our community and our industry especially. Many of you remember attending the Heart & Stroke Walk at Murray Company’s hosted tent over the recent years and we thank you for that support and for showing up heart-strong.
Although this year Murray Company is not participating in the Heart & Stroke Walk as a sponsor, nor are we hosting a tent/booth, we don’t want you to miss out on the opportunity to participate, create a team, and raise funds for life saving research. Many of you have been either directly or indirectly affected by heart disease and stroke so we believe in the importance of keeping this dialogue going, and raising awareness, especially during Heart Month (February). These conversations are sometimes difficult but critical to have.
If you’re pumped and wish to start your own team, the next few steps are easy! All you, or anyone who would like to create a team and be a coach, would need to do is just click “Create a Team” and follow the online prompts. It takes 2 minutes and is super easy to complete! Once there is a team – others will be able to join your team on Murray Company’s homepage below. We have set a company-wide goal of $1,000 this year and hope that together, we can reach it.
When you sign up to participate in Heart and Stroke Walk, you are contributing to, witnessing, and progressing life-saving science. You are also going to have a great experience!
