Murray Company has historically done a ton of work at LAX Airport and these days the status quo remains the same. Our plumbing, HVAC, underground team and industrial division are actively involved on several projects including Alaska Airlines T6, Southwest Airlines T0, Delta Airlines T2 and T3, American Airlines T4 and T5, Midfield South, Terminal 2 LAWA FIS, and North Airways Exits and Taxiways.
Recently, the higher-ups and safety team at LAWA, as in Los Angeles World Airports, spotted Industrial Group’s Superintendent Craig Freeman and Foreman Robert Ayala from the Underground Division “Working Exceptionally Safe on a LAWA TDG Construction Project” at Murray Company’s Alaska Airlines T6 project. In response to this, LAWA presented Craig and Robert with the “Caught in the Act Safety Award” at the LAWA Program Wide Safety Meeting on Thursday, November 30th just outside LAX.
This breakfast event was attended by various trades, the LAWA Safety Team and was run by LAWA’s Project Safety Director, Dan Perez, AMP, RUE. Attending the meeting in support of Murray Company’s award recipients were Safety Manager Travis Trumbo, Superintendent Terry Walls STS-C, Superintendent Curt Nicolitz STS-C and Superintendent Pedro Lopez.
