Murray Company is one of CPMCA’s (California Plumbing and Mechanical Contractors Association) largest contractor members. In that spirit, we never pass on an opportunity to support and participate in this trade association’s Annual Scholarship Development Golf Tournament. Newport Beach Country Club played host to this year’s fundraiser on January 29th. Typically, this is a summer tourney but last August 21st, Hurricane Hilary brought with her torrential rainfall and winds to SoCal, hence, blowing CPMCA’s tournament date right into 2024.
Participating in this tournament benefiting university students pursuing careers in our industry were Vice President Virginia Brown, SoCal President Ryan Cavanaugh, Operations Manager Derek Fett and CPMCA Past President and Murray Company PX , Steve Fosdick. Our team had a super time on the greens, mingling with fellow contractors members, competitors, and vendors alike. They also had the chance to meet Mr. Mark McManus, General President of the United Association of Union Plumbers, Fitters, Welders and Service Techs, CPMCA’s special guest.
