The Habitat for Humanity Greater Los Angeles Builders Ball is an annual event that celebrates Habitat LA’s counterparts in the building and real estate industry, as well as partners and donors, who are helping to transform the landscape of Los Angeles.
This year’s Ball was held at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel on Thurs, March 21st. Murray Company was an event sponsor affording us 5 seats at the Turner Construction table, the general contractor with whom we built one Habitat home in Lancaster in October 2023 (we also built a home with Clark Construction at the same location during the “Builders Blitz”). MC donated the labor and materials for the plumbing scope.

A few days following the event, we connected with Helen Dosta, VP of Resource Development at the Habitat for Humanity, inquiring about the dollar amount raised. Helen writes,
“We are still working through some final gifts that came in for the event, so will likely be confirming everything by the end of the week. I can tell you that we raised roughly over $900,000 though, but this might go higher once we get all the final pledges confirmed and counted.”
As a believer in supporting the communities that we help build, in this instance one home at a time, Murray Company is honored to be a part of this philanthropic events. This gala is more than just a celebration; it’s a powerful gathering to raise awareness and vital funds, empowering families and fostering strength & stability through homeownership.
