We have a track record supporting countless charities and fundraising events across all our branch offices each year. We seize opportunities to support our clients’ fundraisers through galas, golf tournaments, outreach events and the like. We support our union partners the very same way.
On Monday, June 24th, our NorCal branch supported the UA Local 447 Plumbers and Pipe Fitters inaugural golf tournament as a Silver Sponsor and a Cigar Sponsor. This charity tournament raises money for its members’ children, offering them financial aid for a higher education. As for UA Local 447, it was founded in 1889, the United Association is based in Sacramento and is “one of the most respected and influential building trades unions in the U.S. and Canada today”.
The tournament took place at Lincoln Hills Golf Club in Lincoln, CA, around 30 miles north of downtown Sacramento. Representing Murray Company were Estimating Manager Mike Dean, Plumbing Superintendent Ethan Brown, General Foreman Ron Berg and General Foreman Joe Guidotti.
