★ Los Angeles Convention Center Expansion & Renovation 

We are thrilled to announce that Murray Company has been awarded the HVAC and Plumbing scopes for the Los Angeles Convention Center Expansion and Renovation! This massive project includes 880,000sf expansion and modernization of the Los Angeles Convention Center to provide connectivity between the existing South and West Halls at multiple levels.

Some of the features include: a Pico Boulevard Passage underneath the expansion; 180,000sf Exhibit Hall expansion with a centerpiece dubbed the “LA Skynode,” a series of large light wells carved into the structure, providing natural lighting and serving as a point of circulation from the lobby an 80,000sf Meeting Room and Pre-Function Zone; a Catwalk and Mechanical support spaces; 100,000sf Multipurpose Space w/Pre-function, Kitchen, and Outdoor Terrace and Event Space; and a Replacement Central Plant capable of generating over 10,000 tons of chilled water.

Our collaborative approach led by Gabe Hernandez & Patrick Reed, and exceptional teamwork from both preconstruction and operations personnel throughout the pursuit process, were key factors in securing this project. Furthermore, our strong relationship and history of successful collaborations with both PCL Construction and Webcor were instrumental in achieving this remarkable win.
