Over 500 Murray Company employees and their +1’s attended the highly anticipated SoCal Annual Holiday Party on Saturday, December 14th that took place at the Hilton Long Beach. Naturally, guests were encouraged to dress up for this special occasion so there was no shortage of sparkles, sequence, bow ties and holiday cheer. Hundreds of toys were collected at the event that will be donated to the Los Angeles Fire Department Spark of Love Toy Drive (which celebrates 32 years of collecting toys for underserved children and teens in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange, Ventura and Riverside counties).
Chairman/CEO Jim DeFlavio extended a heart-felt welcome to all guests. The evening’s agenda included a presentation of Service Awards to those celebrating 10-15-20-30 years of service to Murray Company, significant career milestones. Mr. DeFlavio, in partnership with SoCal President Ryan Cavanaugh, CFO Ken Greer and HR Coordinator Raelynn Galindo, called to the stage those being recognized who were met with applause, standing ovations and a necessary photo opp.

The dance floor opened after dinner for those eager to get foot loose in sync with the live band. Guests took home a box of delicious See’s chocolates, a royal blue Murray Company ornament and the beautiful floral table centerpieces were up for grabs too. A big thanks to the HR Team for these nice Christmas gifts.
