We kicked off this week with a historic celebration! Monday, July 2nd marked the 5th anniversary of no lost time incidents by our Fab Shop and Facility Crews. This amounts to 435,298 hours of labor without skipping a beat.
Falling shovels, cars swerving on the freeway = dangerous situation. Last week, one of our drivers experienced a frightening and avoidable situation when a shovel feel off the back of a MC Utility Truck. Employing caution and vigilance are our ticket to no recordables.
Safety Stand-Down is a voluntary event for employers to talk directly to employees about safety. On several projects, we held a stand-down by taking a break to focus on “Fall Hazards” and reinforcing the importance of “Fall Prevention”.

Recall Alert! The government says that 134 models of “Kiddie” push-button and plastic-handle extinguishers in the U.S. and Canada made from 1973-August 15, 2017 are being recalled. They can become clogged and fail to spray when needed. Read more…
The Annual So Cal Safety Meeting took place this past Saturday where a group of nearly 100 fab shop, field and some office personnel gathered to address our core values with SAFETY receiving the most attention. We welcomed a guest speaker.
