On Friday, June 12, we caught the Advanced Technologies team tube-bending stainless steel pipe for the CA Air Resource Board Project and Intel in Oregon. In case you missed the Instagram story, check out some of these photos and team videos.
Here are some highlights from the Fab Shop on Valentine’s Day where the team brazed, soldered, fabricated and welded for the Dodger Stadium, Vermont Corridor, 8899 Beverly, ELS Campus, the Almador project and more.
We visited the Advanced Technologies building part of Fab Shop Fridays series where several of our craftsmen were working on tube-bending for specialty gases in connection with the California Air Resource Board Project under Hensel Phelps.
Rafael Ochao of UA Local 78 puts together a beautiful wellhead assembly for a City of Santa Monica Public Works project. Brandon Krick (UA Local 78) assembles a pressure-reducing valve station which is quite impressive.
To bridge this gap between office, field crew and our fab shop team, here’s an insider peak into the type of work our Fabrication team performs each day. There are roughly 50 +/- craftsmen on sight each day at the main fabrication facility.
If you were around on Thursday, May 2nd, you were here to witness 4 motor coaches pulling in, transporting 225+ subcontractors to Murray Company. These were all members of the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) from across the nation who had registered for the 3-day 2019 MCAA Fabrication Conference.

Each year, the Mechanical Contractors Association of America selects a premier mechanical contractor to put on MCAA’s Fabrication Conference. This year, we’ve been selected to host. What an honor!

This is a robust time in the Fab Shops which are bursting at the seams with work being performed for many big projects. Here’s a glimpse into the work our welders, pipefitters, apprentices and journeymen do everyday.
We kicked off this week with a historic celebration! Monday, July 2nd marked the 5th anniversary of no lost time incidents by our Fab Shop and Facility Crews. This amounts to 435,298 hours of labor without skipping a beat.
