CPMCA (California Plumbing and Mechanical Contractors Association) orchestrates a Safety Awards program each year soliciting some basic safety statistics from each of its contractor members including recordable injuries, annual man hours, etc. and from the data collected, they crunch some numbers and determine winners in several man-hours categories (50,000 – 100,000 Man Hours, 100,000-250,000 Man Hours, 250,000 to 500,000 and so on).
It’s no secret that Murray Company’s safety program is outstanding. It has been crafted and fine-tuned over the years and continues to raise the bar to ensure each employee’s safe return home from the jobsite, fab shop, the field and every place in between. Corporate Safety Director Justin Myburg takes great pride in the program that he and leadership have created, that has the buy-in of 1,000+ field personnel on the front lines.
In 2024, MC crews worked 2,578,820 Man Hours with zero (0) days away (out of work) and a RIR of just .47 which is incredibly low.
Congratulations to everyone at Murray Company!
You are all a part of this award and recognition.
