It was a gorgeous 85-degree day at the Wente Vineyards in Livermore, CA at the 11thAnnual Murray Company NorCal Tournament on Friday, June 27th. The calendars were marked for this special day by the 140 players who participated in this charity event raising money for the YMCA East Bay.
Twenty-one (21) vendors/sponsors supported NorCal’s charity golf tournament. We’re most grateful for their generosity and their engagement in some on-course activities. Northwest Fluid Solutions was the closest to the pin sponsor. Lord & Sons was the longest drive sponsor. Other engaging activities like Oven Mitt Drive by Fluid Gauge entertained golfers and added to a memorable day. Purchasing Manager Bradford Ray was the vendors’ point of contact and helped coordinate all these on-course activations.
The event raised $15,500 for the YMCA East Bay which Murray Company matched for a grand total of $31,000 donated to charity. These funds were raised through online registration fees at just $100 per golfer and additional charity raffle ticket sales online and onsite.
A cocktail hour, dinner and awards ceremony concluded the day. Bradford Ray was the master of ceremonies who thanked the event sponsors and presented each vendor with a gift from a Murray Company, a custom/branded leather backpack.

Many golfers walked away with a door prize that were donated by the vendors/sponsors from Apple products, Garmin watches, Bluetooth speakers, Yeti Coolers, to Callaway range finders and so much more. The charity prize was a $2K gift card to Wente Vineyards that a lucky winner took home for a future getaway and shopping spree at golf course and winery.
