Congratulations on being recognized as a 2025 award winner in the MCAA Safety Statistics & Awards Program! This prestigious program honors MCAA members across six categories, including:
- Zero recordable cases
- Zero lost workday cases
- Recordable case incidence rates 25% or more below the industry average
- Lost workday case incidence rates 25% or more below the industry average
- Two additional categories that combine these achievements
With nearly 3,000 member companies employing over 380,000 union workers nationwide in heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, piping, and mechanical services, safety and health remain our highest priorities.
This year’s cohort demonstrated exceptional performance, achieving industry-leading safety metrics and showing marked improvement over 2024. The average recordable case rate among members was 0.92, significantly lower than the industry average of 2.9. For lost workday cases, MCAA members excelled again with a rate of 0.2, compared to the industry average of 1.9.
