The California Plumbing & Mechanical Contractors Association (CPMCA) is now accepting scholarship applications for its 2026–2027 Scholarship Program, offering $2,500 per academic year to qualified applicants. This opportunity is available to employees of contractor members (like Murray Company) throughout Southern California, offering financial support for higher education. (For those in Northern California, the NorCal Mechanical Contractors Association hosts a separate scholarship program for that region.)

To: All CPMCA Contractor Members
We are excited to announce the 2026-2027 CPMCA Scholarship Program.
- CPMCA is awarding $2500 per school year to qualified applicants.
- Applicants must be either:
- A current employee at a CPMCA Contractor Member company working a minimum of 16 hours each week for a minimum of 3 months prior to the scholarship submittal deadline
OR - A child, grandchild, or sibling of any employee (office or field personnel) or owner working for a CPMCA Contractor Member company in Southern California.
- Scholarships will be provided on a yearly basis. Thus, applicants can reapply each year – during the course of their college/university education – to receive the scholarship.
- CPMCA is accepting applications from individuals attending a two (2) OR four (4) year accredited college/university.
If you would like to recommend an individual for the 2026-2027 school year, please forward this email to the student at your earliest convenience to allow them adequate time to complete the application.
This year, applicants will complete their applications online and submit (via email) all supplement documents. The application must be completed and all documents emailed no later than Friday, May 15, 2026 at 5:00pm PST. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
