The 7774 CHOC SW Tower Project is underway with McCarthy Building Companies. Murray Company has been awarded the plumbing and HVAC scopes. PX Jay Madison & Vice President Virginia Brown share this about our progress these days:
We were fortunate to be a part of CHOC’s team during the Bill Holmes Tower Project and we are thrilled to be able to contribute to this new and amazing endeavor with CHOC again! John Reid, Eddie Agundez, Bill Korneff, Taylor Cohrt, Jeff Bender and Tyler Thomas are working tirelessly with a very talented and dedicated team from Cannon, AEI, and McCarthy among many others to assist in developing a beautiful new state of the art Ambulatory Care and R&D Facility that will add to CHOC’s resources to care for all our kids in need.

In support of this project, Murray Company participated in the March for Babies community event in Costa Mesa on Saturday, May 7th where our partners hosted a booth. The event competed with Mother’s Day weekend, so the turnout was a bit light, nonetheless, the spirit of a community was alive and well, the weather, just perfect, and the fundraising efforts in line with McCarthy’s goals. Most MC project team members had prior commitments so Director of Marketing, Marta Martin (a big fan of any charitable event benefiting children) represented MC.
Thank you, Virginia Brown and Marta Martin, for your personal donation to this cause!
In the words of Senior PM Enoe Rodriguez,
McCarthy is once again a sponsor for the March for Babies event. The 7774 CHOC SW Tower Project has formed a team to help raise money in support of March of Dimes lifesaving research and programs that will help more moms go full term and more babies be born on time. The McCarthy Orange County and Los Angeles offices are matching donations up to $10,000 for the event with an overall fundraising goal of $25,000. Your and/or your company’s support would be greatly appreciated!
The CHOC SW Tower team raised nearly $3,000. As a whole, McCarthy raised $19,177 of their $25,000 goal. Well done!
