There was no shortage of dancing, fine wine and toy donations at Murray Company NorCal’s Holiday Party held at The Palm Event Center in Livermore on Sat, December 17th. NorCal President Terry James and President/CEO Jim DeFlavio addressed an audience of over 150 dressed-up guests, thanking staff members for their tireless drive and commitment to excellence throughout the year.
Longevity Awards were presented to a few personnel celebrating 10 years at Murray Company NorCal. For perspective, the branch opened its doors 10 years ago! These anniversary milestones were met with admiration and vigorous applause, pulling at the heartstrings of the recipients.

After dinner and these formalities, the eager DJ took over, setting the stage for an exciting evening with great music, affording everyone a chance to show off their best dance moves. And boy did they!
Admin Assistant and event coordinator for this event, Diana Tan, recalls,
“A lot of people actually came down and lit up the dance floor with their moves. It was a lot of fun! We had a DJ, and he played a lot of festive and upbeat songs. People had so much fun mingling and socializing during the cocktail hour, and the hors d’ oeuvres were a hit! Jim also told us the story of how Norcal was when it first started – he said that there were only a dozen people at the Holiday Party, and that’s including their spouses. Now, we’ve had over 150 people at this party! It was humbling to see how much NorCal has grown over the years and I’m proud to witness and be a part of an awesome ensemble!”
Toys were collected under the Toys for Tots fundraising campaign and delivered on Monday, 12-19-22 to Shepherd’s Gate at Livermore, a charity that helps women and children escape homelessness, addiction, and abuse. Thank you all for these generous donations and for helping us bring smiles to so many faces this Christmas!
