On Wednesday, May 24th the CPMCA (California Plumbing Mechanical Contractors Association) hosted its Annual Table Top event with a bit of a twist this year. In the past, the venue for this annual event was typically a hotel ballroom but this year over 200 industry professionals met up at Top Golf in El Segundo. There’s a reason CPMCA has a reputation as one of the nation’s leading and most progressive trade associations offering invaluable resources to its members.
Suppliers and vendors including ACE Stainless Supply, Domar Valves, Elmco Stewart, Mega Western, Milwaukee Tool, Symmons, Victualic and many others set up their tabletops, hence the event name, in a designated area where contractors meandered throughout, learning about their respective trending products and services.
Meanwhile, contractor members like Murray Company along with labor partners set up shop at their designated golf bay. Between 6:30pm – 8:30pm, CPMCA’s Executive Director, Chip Martin, orchestrated a “round robin” activity, which afforded vendors face time with each bay. After a specific amount of time, over the loudspeaker, vendors were to rotate to the next station. During this main event, folks networked, mingled, marveled at each other’s golf swings, while engaging in meaningful conversation and strengthening relationships. At the end of the night, lucky winners walked away with nice raffle prizes donated by the host and vendors.
