The San Diego Gaylord Project Team including Vice President of Operations Harley Hall, San Diego VP John Vanderelst and Project Executive Jacob Pessa should be extremely proud of their team in response to the client testimonial they received on October 19th. Brent Lee of McCarthy/Mortenson, the general contractor/joint venture on the Gaylord Pacific Resort & Convention Center project, shared a profound sentiment with MC’s General Superintendent, James Adamson:

James,
Something that I thought was worth commending Murray on was the awesome job your team did setting the water heaters in the Cup here at the Gaylord project. This was a top tier example of 5S. This task was not only well planned and executed but done in a safe and timely manner. This is just one of many examples where your team has come through for this project. Needless to say that working with Ryan and Jacob and team has been a highlight in my career.
Thanks again for making our job as a general contractor a pleasure.

To the above, James Adamson responded:
Brent, thank you for taking the time to share your experience in working together with Murray Company on this iconic project. We appreciate this sort of feedback and shared experience and very much value your partnership. Our experience in working together with MMJV is much the same sentiment.
The fabrication team which assembled this skid at the Santa Fe office deserves recognition too. Thank you to Fabrication Manager Brent Mitte, Fabrication Manager Winston Ortiz and crew. A shoutout to the piping team – Plumbing Foreman Jesus Delgado, Journeyman/Plumbing Shop Steward Brandon Crick and 1st year apprentice Christopher Quintero. Fist-bumps are in order too for Lead Detailer Todd Hodges and Detailer Michael O’Shea.

General Foreman Ryan Sperry, Apprentice Steven Barron, Journeyman Worker Henry Schenck., Foreman Robert Wilson and Journeyman Worker Larry Castro stand beside the fab shop assembled skid that they installed onsite together over a 6-hour period. They utilized a warehouse forklift and moving mice to transport these skids from truck-to-final-placement.
“Kudos to the design team, it went together really well.” – Robert Wilson, General Foreman
Congratulations and thanks for the outstanding work!
