On Monday, April 15, Project Managers Rosemarie Edquid and Pete Panitchayangkoon along with Foremen Brent Phipps and Matthew Kramer were not busy filing their 2023 taxes. Instead, they were participating in the Smart Local 105 Golf Tournament at Coyote Hills Country Club in Buena Park; Murray Company was a Bronze Level Sponsor.
As a full-service mechanical contractor performing HVAC work, hence, a signatory contractor to the Smart Local 105, Murray Company was afforded a spot to play and support this 25th anniversary event benefiting Autism Spectrum Athletics (ASA). Given our rich philanthropic history and philosophy of giving back, we never pass on such opportunities. As a member of SMACNA (Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association), Murray Company currently employs 70-75 sheet metal workers in CA across 40 active projects.
Rose, Pete, Brent and Matthew had a super time on the greens, mingling with members of Smart Local 105, fellow contractors while ambitiously pursuing a strong golf game. Although they didn’t finish in the top 3, they walked away feeling like winners away! That’s the spirit!
