Last month, Vice President John Vanderelst and Preconstruction HVAC Lead Kevin Grogg of the San Diego branch delivered a $34,943 donation check to Sharp Healthcare Foundation benefitting the Envision Campaign. The Envision Campaign helps make possible new facilities, technology, scholarships research, innovative programs and more. This oversized check (along with the actual check) was presented to the Sharp Healthcare Foundation Board at their monthly board meeting.
Murray Company’s philanthropic gesture stems from the success of the 3rd Annual Murray Company San Diego Golf Tournament that took place on Friday, May 16th. Between the $100 Player’s Package fee (per golfer), charity raffle ticket sales online and onsite the day of the event, around $17K was raised which Murray Company then generously doubled and matched.
Given our involvement with a current Sharp Healthcare project and the pursuit of another in La Mesa, the benefiting charity was most suitable; a win-win for all parties involved.
