The 17th Annual Gala, presented by Pacific Life and the Pacific Life Foundation, took place on Saturday, May 9, at The Grove of Anaheim near Angel Stadium, bringing together more than 1,100 supporters committed to advancing pediatric healthcare. Generous donors, healthcare professionals, builders, families, and community leaders gathered for an unforgettable evening in support of Rady Children’s Health Orange County – formerly CHOC – mission to provide exceptional care for children in need.
Representing Murray Company at this year’s gala were SoCal President Ryan Cavanaugh and Melissa, VP Preconstruction James Patton and Melissa Patton, Vice President Virginia Brown, PX Jay Madison and Michele Madison, along with special guests Randy Regier, Hoag Hospital’s Senior Vice President, and his wife, Deena. Murray Company proudly participated as a “Gift of Love” sponsor, further demonstrating the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting organizations that positively impact the communities we build and serve.
Adding to the evening’s significance, Murray Company was seated near long-time partner McCarthy Building Companies with whom we recently completed the CHOC Southwest Tower project and past CHOC projects as well.
The evening was led by CHOC Chief Development Officer Jessica Miley, alongside President and CEO Kimberly Chavalas Cripe and several other CHOC representatives, all of whom shared inspiring stories or statistics highlighting CHOC’s far-reaching impact on children and families throughout the region.
Guests enthusiastically participated in a lively charity auction featuring once-in-a-lifetime experiences, luxury travel packages, and exclusive events. Through the generosity of attendees and sponsors, the gala successfully raised more than $7 million in support of pediatric healthcare initiatives.
The evening concluded with a high-energy performance by Christina Aguilera, whose powerful vocals and dynamic stage presence capped off a memorable night dedicated to giving back and supporting CHOC’s mission.
