Murray Company hosted its highly anticipated Summer Safety Picnic at the Newport Dunes on Saturday, August 15, welcoming around 800 Murray Company employees and family members for an afternoon centered around family, fun, and our shared commitment to safety.
With perfect Southern California weather setting the stage, Murray Company put together a fun-filled Saturday for “kids” ranging in age from 2 to 72. Face painting, balloon artists and bounce houses kept the younger crowd entertained, while guests of all ages jumped into friendly competitions and activities ranging from Frisbee throwing and hula hooping to potato sack races and paddleboarding in the bay.
Beyond the fun, the Summer Safety Picnic reflects what makes Murray Company special. Bringing together our field and office teams outside the workplace gives employees and their families an opportunity to build relationships, strengthen connections, and get to know the people behind the hard hats, job titles, and email addresses. At Murray Company, family and safety go hand in hand. Our people and their families are the reason we work safely, and events like this reinforce that safety doesn’t stop when the workday ends. It’s a responsibility we carry with us wherever we go.
