We recently joined PENTA Building Group on the USC Jimmy Iovine & Andre Young Academy for Arts Technology & the Business of Innovation project. Yesterday, we attended Penta’s Safety Kick-Off meeting which addressed their safety culture in general.

The Annual So Cal Safety Meeting took place this past Saturday where a group of nearly 100 fab shop, field and some office personnel gathered to address our core values with SAFETY receiving the most attention. We welcomed a guest speaker.

We have set a new Murray Company record. Raising the bar on Safety excellence with 1,810,562.75 man-hours over this last year, thats almost 550,000 man hours more than 2015 and about 240,000 more than our 2013 previous record. We avoided the more serious incidents thus setting another record of 0.88 in Recordable Incidents compared to an industry average of 4.1 (2014 was the last data to compare). Having a Recordable Incident Rate (RIR) below 1 opens many doors and in different markets for Murray Company to grow.
