It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Joseph Murillo, who joined the Tier One family on April 6, 2026 as a third-year apprentice plumber with Local 398. Joseph was a devoted father and son — and a skilled tradesman taken far too soon at just 26 years old. He passed away on May 23rd after a courageous battle with pneumonia.
In the short time Joseph was with us, he made a lasting impression. Tier One General Manager Frank Silva shares his remembrance:
“Joseph arrived at Tier One happy, eager, and willing to grow. He was always ready to help, always available, and always enthusiastic about new experiences in his craft. Though his time with Tier One Mechanical was brief, he will always be a part of our family and will never be forgotten. Please join me in keeping his two young children in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this immeasurable loss. Joseph will be deeply missed.”
We extend our deepest condolences to Joseph’s children, and his entire family. He was, and will remain, a part of the Tier One family forever.
