Murray Company was honored to support the 8th Annual Miller Foundation Gala on Friday, September 12th as a Platinum Sponsor, and what a groovy night it was at The Grove of Anaheim. Our team including Ryan Cavanaugh, Donny Odom, James Patton, Gabe Hernandez, Curtis Horner, and Marta Michel-Lodge, along with their spouses, danced their way through a sea of sparkles and sequins alongside 400 construction industry guests for an unforgettable evening of giving and Studio 54 glamour.
During the cocktail reception, on-theme performers and entertainers, several of them in roller skates, kept guests engaged with interactive activities and fundraising engagements. Thanks to the generosity of so many individuals and corporations – and through sponsorships and the live auction that later followed – the gala raised over $1.5 million that night – a new Miller Gala record with most of the proceeds benefitting the Hoag Hospital Foundation and the ACE Mentor Programs in LA/OC and Nevada. Now that’s what we call disco fever!
Mr. Gregg Miller, President of the Miller Foundation, welcomed guests and generously presented three charity checks to the Hoag Hospital Foundation for $500K, to the ACE Mentor LA/OC program for $400K and $35,000 to ACE Mentor Nevada, making a tremendous community impact.
The night ended with a dance party led by a bell-bottomed, big-haired band performing hits from the ’70s and beyond, followed by a confetti-cannon finale.
Murray Company is proud to have supported this event all 8 years and to stand alongside the Miller Foundation, and our community in support of Hoag and the ACE Mentor Program.
